The development of highly efficient and long lifetime blue phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes is a very critical issue in the organic light-emitting diodes. As an approach, host and Pt(II) phosphorescent materials have been developed by engineering the molecular structure for high triplet energy and stability. In our study, we developed several boron host materials and Pt(II) emitters for long lifetime blue phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes and studied operation mechanism of the mixed hosts.
报告人简介:

Prof. Jun Yeob Lee received his Ph.D degree from Seoul National University, Korea in 1998. After postdoc at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (1998~1999) he joined Samsung SDI and developed active matrix organic light emitting diode for 6 years. After that, he worked as a professor at Department of Polymer Science and Engineering of Dankook University and he is now a professor at School of Chemical Engineering of Sungkyunkwan University from 2015. He is a member of the Korea Academy of Science and Technology (KAST) from 2019. His main research areas are synthesis of organic electronic materials and development of novel device structure for organic electronic devices. He has published more than 700 papers and filed more than 150 patents. He is an Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Information Display and Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry.
